  • Is the cruise full board?
    Yes, we serve, every day: - a breakfast, - a lunch - a tea time - a dinner Meals are accompanied by mineral water. On a stopover day, if you are visiting and if you do not return to eat at noon, you can prepare a lunch box in the morning for breakfast. A lunch is held at the restaurant for those returning from their visit.
  • Under what rabbinical supervision are David Cruises?
    David Cruise's Hasga'ha is under the supervision of Rav C. Ifrah, of Aix les Bains. You can savor our gastronomic cuisine Glatt Kosher, prepared by a Chef, in compliance with the requirements: - Halav Israel - Pat Israel - Bichoul Israel.
  • Are the meals Glatt Kosher?
    Yes, all our meals are Glatt Kosher.
  • How are the meals prepared?
    All our meals are fresh and prepared the same day by our Chef. You will thus take advantage of your 5* Cruise to delight your culinary desires.
  • Where are the meals served?
    In a refined setting, meals take place in a private restaurant, exclusively reserved for David Cruise. A dedicated waiters team will oversee the service.
  • How are meals served?
    Breakfast and lunch are served: - at the table. - at the buffet. It depends on each cruise. Dinner is always served at the table.
  • Are there children's menus?
    Yes, we adapt to demand.
  • What are the meal schedules ?
    In general, meal schedules are: - breakfast from 7.30 to 9.30 - lunch from 12.30 to 14.00 - dinner from 7.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. On a stopover day, if you are visiting and if you do not return to eat at noon, you can prepare a lunch box in the morning during the breakfast. A lunch is maintained at the restaurant for those returning from their visit.
  • Is there a synagogue on board?
    A comfortable room will be reserved to be our Synagogue throughout your cruise. A Sefer Torah will be on board to ensure readings from the parashiot during the week and on Shabbat. Shiurim will be offered by our rabbis.
  • How is the day of Shabat going?
    Shabbat takes place in the purest tradition, with an atmosphere of simha and oneg. To know: - Minha followed by Kabalat Shabat - Dinner - Shaharit Office - Kiddush - Lunch - Minha - Seouda shlishit - Arvit followed by the havdala. Shiurim are offered by our rabbis during Shabat.
  • How is Shabat organized (candle, door)?
    Before Shabat, a steward will come to your cabin: - drop off a pair of led candles for your adlakat nerot. - you block the lock to be able to enter and leave without using your electronic key.
  • Can I get off the Shabat ship, if we are on a layover?
    If you are shomer shabat, you will not be able to go out because you must carry an identity document and go through electronic gates.
  • Are the swimming pools separate?
    The swimming pools are shared by all passengers on the ship. Only the restaurant and the synagogue are privatized.
  • What is included and not included in the price?
    The price includes: - navigation - the cabin. - all meals accompanied by mineral water. - port taxes. - access to entertainment and free services (Shows, Casino, Piano-Bar, Gym, swimming pools, water park, Kids club...) The price does not include: - air transfer. - the Service Hotel tax. (Adult 11€/Day, Child 5€/D) - personal expenses.
  • What are the types of cabins?
    There are 4 types of cabins: - Inside cabin: Economical, comfortable. Ideal for children because it has no opening to the outside. - Windows cabin: more spacious, it has a porthole allowing you to have a direct view of the sea. - Balcony cabin: it offers a private outdoor space thanks to an individual balcony. - Suite cabin: more comfortable, it has a more spacious living space plus a large balcony, and VIP service. All cabins are equipped with: - a TV - adjustable air conditioning - a safe - bathroom linen - a hair dryer - beach towel, as well as plenty of storage. A steward is dedicated to your cabin. A hotel service is at your disposal. The capacity of the cabins varies from 2 to 4 people max. The size of a cabin varies between 15 sqm2 and 20 sqm2. The suites vary from 25 to 50 sqm2 depending on the category.
  • How is a cabin equipped?
    Whether inside, outside with sea view, with balcony or en suite, all cabins are designed to bring you maximum comfort and elegance. Your cabin provides: ​ Adjustable air conditioning Interactive flat-screen satellite TV Hairdryer Safe Steward Bed linen. Bath linen, changed daily. 24-hour mini-bar and room service (paid service) Your cabin will be cleaned and tidied daily.
  • How is boarding?
    Upon arrival at the Cruise Terminal, you will proceed to check-in. At the boarding counter, you must present your travel diary, or your reservation number as well as your valid identity papers. Your luggage will be checked and taken care of by the cruise line, which will later deposit it in your cabin. Then you can board and return to your cabin. The door to your cabin will already be open and you will be able to access it. You will find on your bed your "key card" which will be, during your cruise: - your cabin key - your ID - your onboard payment method.
  • How is the disembarkation going?
    48 hours before disembarkation, you will receive color labels in your cabin which must be affixed to the luggage. You will then leave them outside your stateroom on the final night, allowing staff members to collect them and thus ensuring a more convenient and expeditious disembarkation. You will find your luggage at the exit of the ship, in the dedicated lobby. During disembarkation, we advise you to keep all valuables, important documents and personal effects in your hand luggage. If necessary, you will have to think about paying your bill, otherwise you will not be able to go out.
  • How are the stops?
    In general, the ship docks in the morning, around 8.00 a.m. and leaves around 7.00 p.m. This gives you a good day for sightseeing. To make your cruise a success, we strongly advise you to prepare, before your departure, your schedule of visits to each port of call. You have 2 options: - either you book your paid excursions with the company (before departure, on their website or on the ship, at the excursions office). You will be in a group, supervised by a guide. - either you make your excursions independently. And there, you apply the program that you set before departure. You are your own guide. Warning. The return time to the ship must be respected. The ship won't wait for you! In the event of non-on-time boarding, you are fully responsible for the costs incurred.
  • How can I book an excursion?
    You can book your paid excursions with the company: - either before departure, on their website - either on the ship, at the tour desk. You will be in a group, supervised by a guide.
  • What does a typical day look like?
    Here is a typical day on a cruise: - Shaharit around 8.00 - Breakfast around 8.45 - Exit the ship to visit the stopover. - Return at 1.30 p.m. for those who want to have lunch at the restaurant. - Or return at the end of the day, for those who want to enjoy the excursion. - Minha - Dinner around 7 p.m. - Arvit - Evening (show, casino, piano bar, walk on the bridges...)
  • Is there an information and entertainment program on the ship?
    Yes, every day before, you will receive in your cabin the "logbook" which will inform you of everything that will happen the next day.
  • Is there Wi-Fi service on board?
    Yes. The Company offers various paid packages to access Wi-Fi or packages for social networks (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Is there a Kids-Club or Baby-Club?
    Yes. The company offers a free Kids Club service for children aged 3 to 11. A paid Baby-club service may be available, depending on the cruise, Attention, a baby under 6 months is not allowed to board.
  • What is the method of payment on board?
    Your means of payment is your cabin key (magnetic card). When you arrive on board, you can load it: - or by registering your credit card at a dedicated terminal. - or by depositing cash at a dedicated terminal. At the end of the cruise, you will have to pay your bill, if necessary. If you've connected your credit card, you don't have to do anything. If you deposited cash: - either complete your deposit - either you get your cash back, too much deposited.
  • What ID do I need?
    Depending on the destination chosen for your cruise, you will be asked for an identity document or a passport valid for at least 6 months during your stay at sea. Please note, if your identity papers are valid only on the date of reservation, this will not be sufficient and will not allow you to board. Check the validity date carefully.
  • Is there a laundry service?
    Yes, all ships have laundry, dry cleaning and dry cleaning services.
  • Why choose a Cruise rather than another mode of travel?

  • How do I make my reservation?
    To make your reservation, you must: - send an email to contact@davidcruise.com to confirm your willingness to book, - attach a copy of the passports of each traveler. We will contact you to register and pay the deposit. An email confirming your reservation will be sent to you.
  • What are the payment terms?
    The day of the reservation: - a 50% deposit is due. - the balance must be paid 60 days before the departure date. Bank charges: - 2,5 % by bank transfer outside of Israel. (Euro, Dollar). - 2,5 % by credit card (Euro /Dollar)- (Amex 3.5%).
  • What are the payment methods ?

  • What are the cancellation conditions and fees?
    In case the cancellation is due: > to David Cruise or the Cruise Line: - a refund of your cruise will be made excluding additional costs (flight ticket, hotel). > to the Client: Any cancellation, before departure, will incur the following costs: - More than 120 days before departure: 20% of the total amount of the trip (with a minimum of 100€/person) - from 120 to 90 days from departure: 30% of the total amount of the trip; - from 90 to 60 days before departure: 50% of the total amount of the trip; - 60 to 30 days before departure: 75% of the total amount of the trip; - less than 30 days from departure or no-show: 100% of the total amount of the trip It is strongly recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance.
  • Should I take out insurance?
    We strongly recommend that you take out trip cancellation insurance to protect yourself against the unexpected. Indeed, in the event of cancellation, you will have to pay cancellation fees, which may later be covered by the insurance, depending on the reason for the cancellation. cancellation.   • Is there a medical service on board?
    Yes, there is a hospital in case of need.
  • Should I worry about getting seasick?
    Today's ships are all equipped with ultra-sophisticated stabilizers and devices for optimal comfort during navigation and to predict weather changes. Even if you have ever been seasick on motorboats, sailboats, yachts or ferries, this is not comparable to ships. In addition, the routes are designed to pass through the calmest areas to avoid large waves. And in case you get seasick, medication is available on board.

  • Can I take a cruise with a baby under 6 months old?
    No. The cruise line does not allow babies under 6 months to board. Boarding is only possible from 6 months.
  • Can I take a cruise if I am pregnant?
    Yes, but you must not be more than 24 weeks pregnant at the end of the cruise. We ask you to have with you a medical certificate which certifies the expected date of delivery and your good state of health. Vessels do not have facilities for assisting pregnancy or allowing childbirth.
